  • Darlene Oliver, LPC, CAADC (she/her)

Hi, my name is Darlene. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I have 25 years of experience providing therapy in multiple settings, including inpatient mental health, outpatient day programs, and outpatient drug and alcohol settings. I enjoy working with people with anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, Addiction issues, and religious trauma/deconstruction, to name a few.

I believe first and foremost in unconditional acceptance and building a trusting relationship. I enjoy exploring with people collaboratively where they become stuck and work together to change patterns that aren’t working to begin to make positive changes. I will also support you in healing from difficult life struggles, including change and loss.

My eclectic approach often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also focus on empowering the individual and working to build self-esteem and confidence to reach one’s goals and full potential. I work with all age ranges, from young adults in helping explore a sense of direction to middle age and beyond. I enjoy working with men and women from all backgrounds, including histories of abuse and trauma.

I have a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Florida and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southeastern University.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family watching movies, and going out to dinner. I enjoy reading and going to the gym. I also love to go to the beach whenever I can.

If you are looking for someone to talk to and work through your issues with, I would love to have the opportunity to speak with you!
