Carley Tkaczuk, LSW

Hi! My name is Carley, and I am a licensed social worker (LSW).
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Millersville University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Eastern University. I have always been interested in working with people and entered the mental health field after working with college students experiencing things like anxiety, depression, and burnout.
Since then, I have worked with children and adolescents, college students, survivors of domestic violence, and families. Through all these experiences, I found my passion in working with women, young adults, and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief/loss, and life transitions.
It is a courageous first step to being in therapy, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside you on your journey towards wellness. It is essential to me to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for you. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach; simply put, we will work together to meet you where you are at in the present moment. I hope that I can help you grow your confidence and promote healing so that you can enjoy life to the fullest.
I enjoy using cognitive behavioral therapy, systems theory, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I also integrate a trauma-informed perspective, which means that I consider the impact of trauma on your emotions and behavior.
Additionally, I can provide faith-based counseling upon request. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking for friends and family, spending time outdoors, and going to coffee shops. I am also an aspiring gardener and enjoy talking and learning about plants.
Carley is currently seeing clients online across PA and in-person at the Lancaster, PA office.
