Aileen Beaver, LSW
Hi there, I’m Aileen!
I’m a Licensed Social Worker who provides individual therapy to teens and adults dealing with various mental health concerns such as stress, depression and anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, family struggles, trauma, and PTSD.
I believe in people’s ability to process and transform their pain to live fuller and freer lives. I think that starts with having a safe and supportive therapeutic connection. In therapy, I strive to provide an atmosphere where you can express your thoughts and feelings free of judgment and recognize patterns that no longer serve you.
I believe each of us deserves to live an authentic and satisfying life. It is an honor to walk alongside you in this process toward meaningful change.
I am a graduate of the Boston University School of Social Work. My approach to therapy is collaborative, integrative, and strength-based. I feel that every person is unique, and having flexibility allows therapy to be tailored to your needs.
I use a person-centered, relational psychodynamic approach while incorporating CBT, DBT, and mindfulness skills. Each of these modalities is through a trauma-informed lens. I feel that this approach gives you the coping skills necessary to manage life’s stress and can get to the root cause of your suffering.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, drinking coffee, reading books, running/hiking/biking, working out, and spending time with people I love. I look forward to working with you!
Aileen is currently seeing clients online across PA from her office in Hershey, PA.
