At Move Forward Counseling in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, we provide individual mental health therapy for teens and adults. We employ licensed therapists who have expertise in specific types of therapy and/or with specific populations.
If we do not provide the specific type of therapy you are looking for, our administrative assistant can give you contact information for other therapists in the area who would better meet your needs. Our hope is that you find the right help for you, even if that isn’t necessarily at our office.

Postpartum Counseling, Maternal Mental Health and Pregnancy
While pregnancy and postpartum can be one of the most joyful times for some individuals, for others it can be a time of emotional distress. Depression and anxiety are extremely common, but often under diagnosed by medical providers during pregnancy and postpartum. Our providers have specialized training to help women with anxiety and depression in this specific period in their lives.
The period of adolescence can be exciting, but also challenging for many teens. Due to lack of life experience teens may not know how to manage these problems which is why therapy can be especially helpful.
Life transitions encompasses many things, including starting or ending a romantic relationship, changes with work or school or making any big life change, such as a move.
