    New Office

To help with demand and further accommodate clients, we have decided to open a second location at the State & Main building in East Petersburg. The office will still have the same warmth and boutique-feel of our Salunga office. The new office is located at: 1987 State Street, East Petersburg, PA 17520. Many people know this as the old “Hadyn Zugs” building, which was renovated in 2016 and turned into office space. The building has been updated, but still retains its historic charm.

    Welcome Rochelle

With the addition of the new office, we have added a new counselor — Rochelle Matthews Stoltzfus, LPC. Rochelle works with clients to reduce stress and anxiety, build healthy and meaningful relationships, recover from loss, cope and grow through life changes, heal from trauma, and identify personal values/goals.

Rochelle believes in the ability to emphasize first and foremost. She writes, “being human, I experience challenges and feel brokenness; my own process of growth is bringing me healing, contentment, and joy. I want you to know, because I am doing my own work to live well: I am empathizing – and am proud of your courage & commitment to live intentionally.”

She works together with clients to better their lives as a whole and to become the best version of themselves. Rochelle uses a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Emotionally Focused, and Family System therapies. She is experienced in treating trauma of many kinds, and is an EMDR trained practitioner. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) is a unique form of therapy that focuses on diminishing the negative feelings associated with trauma. Unlike talk therapy, EMDR focuses less on the event itself and instead focuses on the emotions and symptoms that have resulted from the event.

Rochelle has her Masters in Counseling, and has been practicing as a professional counselor since 2010.
