Hi, I’m Megan!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received my graduate degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. My training is relational, meaning I consider not only you as the individual but also the relationships and systems you are a part of. Life is good when you feel supported by and connected to the people in your life. I want to help you to be open and able to show your true self to your parents, family, partner, or friends. Let’s be honest, feeling connected and understood is one of the most significant parts of being human! It makes a huge impact on our emotional and mental wellbeing.
I have known I wanted to be a therapist since I was 10 years old. At that time, I received my own support from a professional who helped me feel less alone and gave me skills to do things differently. Since then I have been passionate about supporting younger individuals and I now specialize in working with adolescents, teenage girls, and young women. But regardless of what age I work with, I am dedicated to being a warm and supportive presence and helping you to feel heard, understood, and hopeful. My focus on relationships means I also focus on OUR relationship! I believe it’s crucial for the client-therapist relationship to feel good in order for you to feel comfortable exploring the messiness of life with me.
When I’m not working, I am spending time with my husband and our twin boys. We are often hanging out in our backyard or spending time with family and friends. I love togetherness but also enjoy snuggling up by myself with a cookie, some hot tea, and watching a movie or show I’ve probably already seen 287 times.
