As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I effectively help individuals gain an understanding about themselves in order to navigate the muddy waters of life. I understand that asking for help and coming to therapy can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and nonjudgmental space, so we can work towards accomplishing the positive changes you desire. I believe we all have the ability to heal and the strength to overcome anything that life throws at us.
I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques (CBT), person centered, and mindfulness strategies in order to help you gain more insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we will identify negative patterns in your life and discuss strategies to overcome them. I am passionate about working with women that may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and relationship difficulties, as well as life transitions and stress management issues. I also provide a welcoming environment for individuals that identify as LGBTQA+.
I graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2015. I have experience providing individual psychotherapy in community mental health settings and private practice across Southeastern Pennsylvania. Additionally, I have experience in various levels of care and providing group therapy. While not in the office, you may find me practicing yoga, volunteering with various organizations in the community, and trying to keep up with my two mischievous cats.
